Position Description This opening is with Alcoa Howmet, a division of Alcoa Power and Propulsion ? a world leader in the investment casting of superalloys, aluminum and titanium primarily for jet aircraft and industrial gas turbine markets. This position has responsibility for all HR activities for our manufacturing plant located in Hampton, VA supporting about 700 employees.? We will look to you to partner and guide the leadership teams in translating business strategy into HR action that drives business results. translating business strategy into HR strategy fostering a positive employee relations environment creating a diverse workforce and inclusive environment strategic staffing/recruitment and talent management/workforce planning organizational effectiveness and leadership development team building and effective communications change management, and continuous improvement; experience in fast-paced lean manufacturing environment? performance management and compensation benefits administration and payroll State and Federal employment laws Workers Compensation Administration? Setting the communication strategy for both plants. Act as the liaison for local and state government Drive community involvement initiates and activates Basic Qualifications BS degree in HR, Business or related field of study. Advanced degree a plus. 8-10 years experience in Human Resource Management; preferably in a manufacturing environment.? Employee relations experience Preferred Qualifications translating business strategy into HR strategy fostering a positive employee relations environment creating a diverse workforce and inclusive environment strategic staffing/recruitment and talent management/workforce planning organizational effectiveness and leadership development team building and effective communications change management, and continuous improvement; experience in fast-paced lean manufacturing environment? performance management and compensation benefits administration and payroll State and Federal employment laws EEOC/OCRC (Ohio Civil Right Commission) Workers Compensation Administration?
