?When I started reading this book I was like "oh no, what have I gotten myself in to?" I thought I picked another weird one.At first glance I saw that Miranda Hanford was into some strange form of Christianity, suffocated by her church, and on top of that she gave homeschoolers a bad name. I'm homeschooled myself, so this annoyed me.?
? But as I continued to read, I got to know her, and her kids, and her brother-in-law, Jack. I watched a wonderful story unfold, where freedom was found. ?Real, God-given freedom. Miranda had some very deep, and painful secrets. Secrets that made her fear the law and stay submissive to her immoral pastor. But with freedom on the horizon, she determines to grab it, even though theres a strong possibility that freedom is impossible for her to grab.
?Her brother-in-law adds some fun to the story. Professor and goofball wrapped in to one.
? And her children, it's hard not to love them. From Martha with her carefree,childish outlook on life, to Timothy, who holds alot inside and must learn to let go.
